Who Is Erlang Shen?
Erlang Shen — also known as Li Erlang or the Dog-Faced God — is one of the most powerful warriors in the Chinese celestial hierarchy. He is the son of the goddess Shu Sheng and a mortal father, which makes him half-divine, half-mortal — a being who carries the strength of the gods with the grit of human experience.
His most notable feature is the third eye in the center of his forehead — a divine eye that can see through any illusion, any transformation, any deception. This eye is what makes him the Vanquisher of Demons: no monster can hide from him, no trick can fool him, no matter how clever the disguise.
